05.07.2026 Great Turnout at East Midland Area Championships with some excellent Judo on Display

A huge congratulations to all competitors who took part in the EMA Open Judo Championships in Lincoln. It was a fantastic turnout, with clubs from all over the country coming together to compete and support one another. The day showcased outstanding judo across every category, with determination, sharp technique, and true fighting spirit on display. From first bouts to final throws, athletes demonstrated not only competitive excellence but also exceptional sportsmanship and respect — the hallmarks of our judo community. Well done to everyone who stepped onto the tatami and gave it their all.
