14th and 15th March 2020 – Success for Midland Area Players at British Schools Championship

This weekend saw over 650 pupils compete at Sheffield’s English Institute of Sport in The British Schools Championship.

Saturday saw school years 8 & 9 and 10 & 11 in action, while Sunday saw school years 6 & 7, 12 & 13 and adaptive and visually impaired judoka compete.

AJA Midland Area players won a total of 5 medals with two players being crowned British Schools Champions .

Golds – Joshua Warburton (Kazoku-Kan) and Sophie Kenny (Kazoku-Kan)

Silvers – Bella Maw (Yenton) and Megan Skillern (Droitwich)

Bronze – Liam Jones (Kazoku-Kan)

p.s. for those that know Alice she somehow sneaked onto the photo, she’s  definitely too old to still be at school.
